UNITAR-UNDRR Virtual Dialogue: Scaling up Disaster Risk Reduction in Humanitarian Action

UNITAR and the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) are hosting the High-level Roundtable Dialogue “Scaling Up Disaster Risk Reduction in Humanitarian Action” to be held virtually on 6 September 2023, 13:00 – 14:00 CET.

During the High-level dialogue, United Nations Assistant Secretary General Mr. Nikhil Seth and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction Ms. Mami Mizutori will provide insights on integrating Disaster Risk Reduction in Humanitarian Action.

A panel of experts will follow comprised of key humanitarian donors and DRR champions such as Germany, and good practices in the application of DRR in Humanitarian Action on the ground in countries like South Sudan or Madagascar, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador.
